numbers of the offices to call before you dig to assure the avoidance of
hitting another underground line. Call the number of the office where the
site you plan to dig is located.This is the law, required of excavators
in most states. Responsible excavating...done easily! |

After you have notified
the site location office, they will arrange to have any existing
lines in the area marked. The markings will be color- coded to identify
it's use.Verify with your particular state to make sure the color coding
is the same as shown below. Some states vary a bit.

YELLOW: Gas, oil, steam,
petroleum, gaseous materials. |

ORANGE: Communication,
alarm, signal lines or cable t.v. |

BLUE: Water, irrigation,
slurry lines. |
| |
GREEN: Sewer. |
| |
PINK: Survey markings. |
| |
WHITE: Proposed excavation (your lines). |

PURPLE: Reclaimed water. |
