How are you connected
to the Internet?
We are connected to the Internet through
a burstable DS3 configuration. We currently utilize less than 35% of this
connection for our website customers. One thing you can be sure of - we
will never be in need of bandwidth. When we exceed our 50% threshold,
we add more.

What type of backups do
you use?
Our web servers run dual SCSI, Raid V drive
configurations. Should a hard drive fail at any time, our backup system
can replace the data onto a fresh hard drive within minutes.
Our network center is backed up by dedicated
100 amp circuits that are specially designed to handle the fluctuating
power requirements of high speed computer equipment.

How many sites do you
host on each server?
As far as sites per server, it depends on
the processor load. We monitor it very closely.

Do you give each site it's
own IP address?
No, you do not receive a static IP address.
Each server has one IP address. Once directed to the server, the address
will resolve to the domain name.
In order to view your site, you need to put
www.yourdomain.com (or .org, .net, etc.) in the address box.

What is the difference
between CartExpress and Cart32?
Cart Express is our free shopping cart system
that is perfect for a beginner e-commerce web site. You can have an unlimited
amount of products and the system is designed to be a "cut-and-paste"
system. You fill out the form in the Cart Manager and it will generate
HTML code that can be pasted into your web site to create an "Add to Order"

Cart Express does not support online credit
card processing and is limited to just three shipping types.
Cart32 is an advanced e-commerce system that
supports both enhanced shipping options, as well as online credit card
authorization and validation. It supports the CyberCash and AuthorizeNet
interfaces. Cart 32 is a $25 per month add-on to any hosting plan and

Do I need to have my

Yes. You must provide your own merchant account

Can I point a domain
name to a subdirectory of my web site?
No. Each domain must have be in its own space,
with it's own resources. You can however, have a third-level domain point to a subdirectory of your
root directory.
